You'll take a 7.30
a.m. flight from
Johannesburg
(included in the
tour price), and
land about an hour
later at a small
airport about 45
minutes from Kruger
National Park.
Your guide will be
waiting for you, to
whisk you straight
to Kruger, where
we'll enter at one
of the southern
gates.
Kruger is a huge
park, but we know
the best places to
find animals, and
we'll try and
show you as much
wildlife as
possible. You'll be
able to buy yourself
something to eat at
one of the rest
areas or camps along
the way. When
we get to the camp
where you will be
spending the night,
you'll check in to
your bungalow, and
then have a bit of
time to freshen up.

Up next is one of
the highlights of
your trip. The best
time to see animals
is around sunset and
sunrise, and you'll
now be going for a
safari in an open
air game viewing
vehicle, with
another experienced
and skilled guide.
The safari will last
about three hours,
on Kruger's dirt,
back roads.
For most of the
year, this safari
drive only comes
back after dark, and
you will have the
opportunity to use
search lights to try
and find animals!
After getting back,
your guide will pick
you up, and you'll
be on your own
for supper.
We suggest an early
night tonight, as
you have an early
start tomorrow.
Depending on the
time of the year,
the safari generally begins between 4
a.m. and 5 a.m. This
time you will take a short walk to
the safari departure
location. This is
once again in an open
air game viewing
vehicle, with the
safari lasting
about three hours.

Your original guide
will be waiting for
you when you return
from your sunrise
safari, and he or
she will take you
down to the
restaurant, where
you can buy
breakfast.
You can sit above
the banks of the
Sabie River,
sip a cup of tea and
try and find animals
on the river banks!

After breakfast
you'll be heading
out on safari again,
taking different
roads through
Kruger's vast bushveld, looking to see
every last animal
possible. We'll leave
Kruger at about 4
p.m., for the 45
minute drive to the
airport, from where
you will fly back to Jo'burg
(flight included in
the tour price).
You'll land by about
7.15 p.m.
